    Description

Ron Wilson and Joe Sinnott The Thing #17 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1984). As a direct result of Marvel's Secret Wars maxi-series, that bashful blue-eyed idol o' millions, Benjamin J. Grimm (aka the Thing) got his own solo book! For a while, he split Strange Tales with Fantastic Four teammate Johnny "the Human Torch" Storm, and for many years hosted a team-up book titled Marvel Two-in-One, but this was his first solo series. The page is signed by Wilson in the bottom margin and produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The logo and corner box are stat paste-ups. The page is slightly tanned with minor handling wear, otherwise in Excellent condition.
