Ron Garney Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty #4 Unpublished Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1998). This alternate, unpublished cover features the Invaders team -- Captain America, Namor the Sub-Mariner, and the Human Torch -- overwhelmed by a swarm of Human Torches in the aptly titled story, "Descent into Madness Chapter Three: Heatwave". While similar to the final published cover, this version includes subtle differences in posing and rendering that make it distinct. Created in ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15". Smudging, tape residue, production tape in margin, whiteout touch-ups/corrections, and minor handling wear.
