Description
Ron Frenz and Al Milgrom Captain America #346 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1988). An emotional and enraged Captain America (John Walker) takes center stage on this cover, hoisting members of the Resistants while the Freedom Force watch in disbelief. After the tragic murder of his parents in the previous issue, Walker embarked on a brutal killing spree that led to his arrest. However, his rapid reinstatement as Captain America hints at a potentially sinister agenda. This powerful and emotionally charged cover from "Ambush!", featuring Battlestar, Blob, Destiny, Mystique, and Pyro, was expertly rendered in ink over blue pencil and graphite on Marvel Bristol board, with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Stat logo/header and text paste-ups, marginal production tape, marginal editorial notes, toning, staple holes in the margins, pulled-tape abrasion and tape residue on the top edge, smudging, glue residue staining, and corner/handling wear.
