Description

Rick Veitch DC Comics Presents #85 Superman and Swamp Thing Cover Original Art (DC, 1985). Superman hangs above the swamp, power radiating in widening rings as his heat vision cuts the air. Swamp Thing stumbles back, vines and muck withdrawing as the swamp rejects this sudden Kryptonian intrusion. This story, "The Jungle Line," was one of two Superman stories written by Alan Moore during his ground-breaking stint on Swamp Thing from 1984-87. Created in mixed media on Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.25". Signed and dated by Veitch in the image area and the lower margin. Light handling/edge wear, with a pinhole in the top left corner. In Excellent condition.
