Description
Richard Sala Night Drive Front Cover Original Art (1984). A masked figure is surrounded by wolves and spectral women, captured in Sala's bold, expressionist style. First published in 1984, this haunting image was reused for the recent Fantagraphics reprint of the cult classic that helped define underground horror comics. Created in ink over graphite on Illustration board with an image area of 8.5" x 11". There were two additional pieces that are stat on acetate, used to create the negative acetate overlays, to produce the color holds. In Excellent condition.More information about Richard Sala.
