DescriptionRichard M. Powers - Wolfhead Cover Original Art (Berkely, 1978). Richard M. Powers created this vivid illustration as the cover to Charles L. Harness' novel, "Wolfhead," about a post-holocaust world, set 3000 years after a devastating atomic war. Powers' painting features a telepathic wolf, who appears in this image encompassing multiple figures and ghostly faces, bringing the psi-power element of the story together masterfully. Measuring 19.5" x 19.5," it was painted in colors so vibrant, they sizzle like waterdrops on a hot grill. There is some very minimal surface blemishing, but overall this piece is in Excellent condition. From the collection of Richard and Wendy Pini.
