Richard "Grass" Green Vari-Feature Comix Unpublished Complete 1-Page Story "Vari-Feature" Original Art (RegCo, 1980s). Underground Comix innovator Grass Green touts a projected title called Vari-Feature Comix with this promotional piece for several original features. The unpublished piece (intended as an inside-front cover) promises great things that never developed. Green retrenched during the 1980s as the inventor/manufacturer of a revolutionary type of drawing paper called RegCo -- with pre-printed lettering-lines, invisible to engraving cameras. Ink and marker over graphite on prototypical RegCo board, with an image area of 10" x 15". Excellent condition.

More Information: The "RegCo" brand name is an abbreviation of "Richard E. Green Co." The artist's working name, Grass Green, is short for his childhood nickname, "Grasshopper."
