Rich Buckler and Joe Sinnott Thor #254 "Don Blake Origin" Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1976). This issue reprinted the Don Blake origin story from Thor #159, "The Answer at Last, " where Odin reveals that he created the identity of Blake when he exiled Thor to Midgard years ago. This is a fantastic cover, and thanks to the Joltin' One's dazzling inks, both the Jack "King" Kirby and the "Big" John Buscema art traditions come across superbly. This piece has an image area of 10" x 15". Aside from scattered staining, loose pasted-on logo, caption, and word balloons, and a small piece out of the lower right margin corner, the art is in Very Good condition.
