DescriptionRich Buckler and Bob McLeod Saga of the Sub-Mariner #9 Cover X-Men Original Art (Marvel, 1989). The X-Men and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants both appear on this cover with Namor! The Sub-Mariner briefly worked with Magneto's band of baddies, and many years later would even join an off-shoot of the X-Men when it was realized that he was actually a mutant himself. (He's got bird-wings on his ankles that allow him to fly, and gills behind his ears... of course he's a mutant!) The logo and corner box are stat paste-ups. The page is produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Slight tanning, with some production tape residue in the corners, otherwise in Excellent condition.
