Paul Chadwick Concrete #2 Cover Original Art (Dark Horse, 1987). Chadwick's cover for the story "the Transatlantic Swim" features not only his clean and deft artwork, it also utilizes the split-level feature he often uses in his work where the character is one level and the viewer gets a cut-away view of the ground beneath. Here, instead, it is the ocean beneath and we get some nice little fishies floating around. The award-winning series had spun out of Concrete's previous appearances in Dark Horse Presents. This ink over graphite image area measures 8.5" x 13.5" on the bright white illustration board. Signed and dated 1986 in the image area, it is in Excellent condition.
