    Description

Olive Bailey - Land of the Lost Comics #6 Cover Original Art (EC, 1947). An eerie witch's caldron bubbles up a ghostly visage on the cover of Land of the Lost Comics #6 -- could it be a sign from the Old Witch? Dare we whisper, "EC horror cover prototype?" Actually, these "pre-trend" EC yarns were adapted from a radio program and revolved around Isabel and Billy, two kids who found themselves trapped in a fantastic undersea world. The cover has an image area of 13.5" x 19". Aside from missing type elements in the title logo and the caption box at the lower left (which formerly read "Bringing you many of your old friends from the coast-to-coast radio program 'Land of the Lost'"), and aging cellophane tape over the small type at the upper left corner, the art is in Very Good condition.
