Norman Mingo MAD #182 Back Cover Original Art (EC, 1976). In the 1970s, "Women's Lib" was on everyone's mind, and Norman Mingo's parody of James Montgomery Flagg's iconic "I Want You" Uncle Sam illustration has the gender switched to reflect the "I Want, Too" generation! Well, more power to her! We thought about saying,"You Go, Girl," but hey, this is a woman, not just a "girl!" This back cover illustration should have a broad appeal (no pun intended) beyond the usual MAD circle of fans! The art is in watercolor in graphite on illustration board, with an approximate image area of 11" x 15", double-matted to an overall 23" x 27". It's in Excellent condition. From the MAD Collection.
