DescriptionNorman Mingo Dirty Old MAD Paperback Cover Painting Original Art (Warner Books/EC, 1971). The 30th MAD paperback to be released, it featured a swingin' Norman Mingo cover in an effort to take your mind off all the dumb jokes inside. It must have worked because this book was reprinted 20 times over the last 45 years. Produced in gouache and open front framed with an image area of 11.5" x 12.5". It is signed in the lower right. The art is toned and the colors faded. There is a bit of residue above Alfred E. Neuman's head where some production tape likely held on the logo for the cover shoot. Overall in Very Good condition.
