Description

Norm Breyfogle Batman #456 Cover Original Art (DC, 1990). Tim Drake is faced with the ghosts of Robins past on this historic cover by Breyfogle. This issue, Tim is trying to prove to Batman that he is worthy of being the next Robin. Tim did become the next Robin, and many fans feel he was as good in the role as Dick Grayson. Tim's character brought a problem-solving skill and computer talent to the character whereas others had relied on acrobatics and fighting styles. This formidable page is produced in ink over graphite on bright white Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The Batman logo is on a separate acetate overlay. The spectral images of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd are negative-image photostats. There is some production tape, otherwise the page is in Excellent condition. From the Greg Reece Collection.
