Description

Nick Cardy Teen Titans #36 Cover Original Art (DC, 1971). Robin (Dick Grayson), Wonder Girl (Donna Troy), and Kid Flash (Wally West) race to action on the cover for the Bob Haney story "The Tomb Be Their Destiny". The cover was created in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board. That was trimmed and affixed to a larger DC Sparta cover stock Bristol board where stat elements for the side bar, header, and all cover text were added for an image area of 10" x 15". Some of these stats (and even the central original art section) are coming loose. Speedy's name is missing from side bar, and the spine paste-up is missing. The top layer of art is rippled and coming loose from the board. Open-front framed to 15.25" x 19.5". The multiple paste-ups are buckling and coming loose. In Good condition. Comes with a copy of the comic signed by Nick Cardy.
