Description

Nick Cardy Silver Age: Teen Titans #1 Cover Original Art (DC, 2000). Nick Cardy's original pencil work for this stunning cover that looks straight out of the swingin' sixties! Of note, he drew Wonder Chick in her groovy red leotard outfit that is a fan-favorite. However, as the story was set much earlier, inker Dave Gibbons changed that back to Wonder Girl's original outfit with the ponytail for the final cover. Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad are in fine form as well. Created in pure graphite on bright white DC Bristol board with a 10.5" x 15" image area. The text is a paste-up recreation. Signed and dated by Cardy in the lower image area. In Excellent condition.
