Description
Nick Cardy Flash #223 Cover Original Art (DC, 1973). This Flash-tastic Land/Sea/Air race cover was created by the incredible Nick Cardy! The cover was created in ink over graphite on Sparta Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The logo(s), masthead, and most cover text are created as paste-up stats. Some stats are missing, leaving glue residue. The Green Lantern logo is in the masthead because the Flash gave him a place to stay when the Green Lantern/Green Arrow title was canceled.
