Description
Neal Adams The Spectre #5 Cover Original Art (DC, 1968). This cover design was innovative indeed for 1968! Adams supplied both pencils and inks here. Produced in ink over graphite with whiteout art corrections. The logo is hand-drawn, and the story title "Fugitive from Justice!" is a stat paste-up that is coming loose.The image area measures 10" x 15". It comes with the printer's reference production color guide created by photocopying the Neal Adams line work in sepia tone (Silverprint) and hand-coloring with watercolor. In addition, there is a trimmed one-sided printer's proof and four untrimmed one-sided printer's proofs of this cover. All items have staple holes in the top left corners. The original art and all production materials are in Very Good condition.
