Description

Neal Adams and Dick Giordano Justice League of America #96 Cover Original Art (DC, 1972). The cosmic vampire Starbreaker siphons the life from Justice League heavyweights Superman, Green Lantern, Hawkman, and The Flash in this cover by Neal Adams. The legendary artist was coming off of his successful run on Green Lantern/Green Arrow and was focusing more on short stories and covers, including this one from DC's top team book. Rendered in ink over graphite on Sparta cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 16.5". The logo, header, text, and character headshots are stat paste-ups with some surrounding residue staining. The cover is lightly toned with light marginal smudging and staining. In Very Good condition.
