Description
Neal Adams and Dick Giordano Justice League of America #92 Cover Original Art (DC, 1971). Original art from Neal Adams' impressive and extensive portfolio is highly sought after! His ambitious energy, along with Dick Giordano's bold style, produced legendary art for one of DC's top team books. Here, Solomon Grundy towers above bruised JLA members the Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Hawkman (Katar Hol), and the Golden Age Flash (Jay Garrick), while preparing to give the Man of Tomorrow the same treatment.In 1971, Adams and Giordano formed Continuity Studios, which focused on suppling the motion picture industry with storyboards. However, this art team is most fondly remembered for their work with DC. The page does not include any of the character insets that were printed around the border of the comic, and is missing the word balloons "Me Solomon Grundy! Me mightier than Superman!" and "Me mightier than all super-heroes!"
Ink over graphite on Bristol board with a matted image area of 10" x 15", and overall framed size of 16" x 21". The title header is a stat paste-up, the page has some mild toning and blue production marks. Art is in otherwise Excellent condition.
