Neal Adams and Dick Giordano Batman: Stacked Cards [Book and Record Set] PR-27 Cover Original Art (Power Records, 1975). Batman and Robin are playing against the odds in the story "Stacked Cards", which pits them against the Clown Prince of Crime himself... The Joker! If you are a fan of vintage 1970s Neal Adams art, and especially his work with Batman, this is something you can't pass up. In addition, this cover brings back fond memories for fans who had any of the many book and record sets produced by Peter Pan Records under their Power Records label. This story was eventually reprinted in the 2006 book Batman Illustrated by Neal Adams. The stark background sets off the Adams/Giordano figure work to great effect in a bit of an homage to the cover of Batman #9 (1942). Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The logo, issue number, and cover text of "The Joker" and "Stacked Cards" are all stat paste-ups. All of the "Ha ha ha ha"s are original hand-lettered text. The National Periodical Publications copyright strip at the bottom is paste-up as well. There are pinholes on the bottom corners of the image area. There is a small glue residue stain just under the logo (in a "HA"). Overall, in Excellent condition.
