Description
Neal Adams and Dick Giordano Action Comics #398 Cover Superman Original Art (DC, 1971). The Man of Steel becomes the "Pied Piper of Steel" on this cover from Neal Adams' peak period. The cover was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The corner box, header, and logo are paste-ups. Some of the text in the lower section are replacement presstype affixed directly to the board. The word balloon is hand-lettered paste-up.
