DescriptionMike Zeck and Mark Texeira The Punisher Magazine #1 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1989). Frank Castle means business -- and good luck to anyone who gets in his way. This gun blazing cover was created by two of the top talents in Modern comics, the amazing Mike Zeck and mighty Mark Texiera. The scene spotlights an iconic image of the Punisher doing what he does best: brandishing two big guns and looking scary. The subtlety of the painted tones was more or less lost in the published cover, but here you can appreciate it in all its glory. This is one "Zeck" of a cover. The image area measures 16" x 23", and the art has been framed to an overall size of 20.5" x 28.5". This Marvel masterwork is in Excellent condition. Signed at the lower right by Zeck. From the Shamus Modern Masterworks Collection.
