Description

Mick Austin Warrior #7 Cover Painting Marvelman/Miracleman Original Art (Quality Communications, 1982). Kimota! A stunning image of Britain's "World's Mightiest Mortal". In the 1950s, the original Fawcett Captain Marvel was published in the UK. When Fawcett ceased publication, the British publisher created their own thinly disguised version named Marvelman. In the early 1980s, Alan Moore revived the character here in Warrior. When the character was later re-imported to the US, he was required to change his name and became Miracleman at Eclipse Comics. This wonderful gouache painting was also used as the cover for Eclipse Comics' 1985 Miracleman 3-D #1. Matted to 20" x 25" and signed and dated in the lower left of the 13" x 18" image area. In Excellent condition.
