    Description

Michael Kaluta Savage Sword of Conan #91 Couverture Originale (Marvel, 1983). The Savage Sword of Conan.
Michael Kaluta Savage Sword of Conan #91 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1983). We are proud to present this original painting by Michael Kaluta, one of the featured pieces in this catalog. Kaluta's influences and style are drawn from pulp illustrations of the 1930s. Each had become innovative stars in the field of comics, Windsor-Smith with Conan, Wrightson with Swamp Thing, Kaluta with The Shadow, and Jones in more alternative comic circles. It is therefore not very surprising that a talented artist like Kaluta, bathed in such a cultural environment, absorbed the best of it to give us the work that we all know of which only 3 oil painted covers on the title The Savage Sword of Conan. This complex and famous cover featuring Conan in the story Forest of Fiends" of issue # 91, is a pure delight for the eyes.
