Description
Michael Kaluta Batman Annual #12 Cover Original Art (DC, 1988). This stunner is only the second Batman-related cover by Kaluta that we've had the opportunity to offer. It harkens back to the Dark Knight Detective's "gothic" heyday of the 1970s, during which Kaluta contributed several Batman and Detective Comics covers. The story is a throwback as well, involving a haunted mansion, a family with dark secrets spanning generations, supernatural forces, and -- of course -- murder. Ink over graphite on DC Sparta board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". In Very Good condition, with some toning, and areas of adhesive residue.
