Description

Massimo Carnevale Dago Unpublished Cover Painting Original Art (Eura Editoriale, c. 1996-2005). Created in 1983, Dago first appeared in the Argentinean comic Nippur Magnum in 1980. Later he would star in the Italian comic LancioStory before getting his own title in 1995. Originally a 16th century Venetian nobleman, circumstances require him to become a mercenary. His adventures take him around the world. Massimo Carnevale provided covers from 1995 through 2006. U.S. fans may recognize his name from the cover work of the 2012 Dark Horse Conan the Barbarian series, one of the Django Unchained #3 covers, and covers for DC's Y: The Last Man. This piece is acrylic on Bristol board with an image area of approximately 9.75" x 12.5". Signed in the artwork. In Excellent condition.
