Marshall Rogers and P. Craig Russell Marvel Fanfare #5 Wrap-Around Cover Doctor Strange and Clea Original Art (Marvel, 1982). Doctor Strange, as produced by Marshall Rogers, Master of the Mystic Artwork! When you add in inks by P. Craig Russell, and the unique color-hold techniques that Marshall Rogers was experimenting with, you certainly get one fantastic looking printed cover. Even the black and white line art is stunning. This wrap-around cover features Doc Strange battling Nicodemus as Clea watches via the Eye of Agamotto. Signed by Rogers in the bottom margin. Produced in ink and Zipatone over graphite, with red ink key lines and a Zipatone overlay, on Bristol board, with an image area of 19" x 15". The piece is affixed to a larger Bristol board measuring 22" x 17". There is tanning and some minor handling and edge wear. The "Fanfare" logo paste-up is missing, leaving some glue residue, and there is a bit of production tape in the margins. Otherwise in Very Good condition.
