Description

Marie Severin and Sal Buscema (attributed) Captain America #133 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1971). There is just so much going on with this cover! "The Power of Bulldozer", "The Origin of M.O.D.O.K.!", and it co-stars the Falcon (and Redwing)! Created from Marie Severin's pencil work, inked by Sal Buscema (although some sources cite Frank Giacoia) on World Color Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The corner box, logo, and CCA stamp are all stat paste-ups. All other cover text is hand-lettered paste-up. The board was slit to allow Bulldozer's text bit to slip in behind his head. There are glue residue stains on the image area in several places. There two small marginal rips in the lower margin near the Marie Severin signature. The toned board is in Good condition.
