Marie Severin and Frank Giacoia Sub-Mariner #16 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1969). Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner, struggles against the evil presence of Tiger Shark in "The Sea That Time Forgot." This show-stopping piece (from the first 15ยข-priced issue), came directly from Marie Severin's personal collection to our consigner 10 years ago, and it's one of the most memorable covers from the run. It has an image area of 10" x 15". Aside from a torn upper right margin corner (outside the image area), some production transparent tape, and light scattered staining, this Marvel masterwork is in Very Good condition. This sensational scene from the twilight of the Silver Age has plenty of eye-appeal, and is sure to make a prized showpiece for any Marvel and/or Marie Severin fan.
