Description
Louis Ravielli Fighting Undersea Commandos #5 Preliminary Page Original Art and Production Stat (Avon Publications, 1953). A rare page of original preliminary art by Louis Ravielli, and only the second piece of his art we have ever offered! He is known for working as a comic book artist throughout the 1940s and mid 1950s. He produced this prelim piece on 8.5" x 11" paper, rendered in graphite and ink with watercolor. Included is a printed image stat of the final cover design. The stat measures 8" x 12". Both have small nicks and tears along the edges, and light creasing.
