Description
Lee Elias Witches Tales #18 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1953). A classic horror cover by the legendary Lee Elias! The story "Bird of Prey!" is cover-featured. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The image is composed of different sections (the masthead section, and then the original art section, with an added bit of board below that to make the full image size). There is a hole in the board from mating these two sections together (patched from the back). The logo was taken from the cover of Issue #10 (as evidenced by the issue number itself, and the whiteout covering where a man's hand crossed over the "LE" in Tales). All text is stat. There is some glue residue in places, and some whiteout with additional art to blend the sections together. Matted to 16" x 20". In Good condition.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
