Description
Lee Elias Witches Tales #13 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1952). That theme of reducing living humans to a fraction of their normal size is explored again on this unlucky 13th cover (well, unlucky for the poor souls about to be attacked by a rat) to Harvey's pre-code title, Witches Tales. What some mad doctors won't do for entertainment! This "torture jar" cover was produced in ink over graphite with white paint on Bristol board with an approximate image area of 10" x 15". The masthead and two cover type blurbs are recent replacements, and there is minor handling wear; overall condition is Very Good.
