DescriptionLee Elias - Original Cover Art for Witches Tales #13 (Harvey, 1952). Miniaturization is a favored gimmick among science fiction/horror films and comics, and the talented Lee Elias takes the wee-folk-in-a-bottle theme and applies it to Harvey's wonky horror title Witches Tales. I hope nobody in the jar is afraid of rats! The title mast area is a replaced stat as is the first line of text below the witch icon. The text at the bottom to the left of the "Laugh, Clown, Laugh" story title has also been replaced. The tip of the rat's tail was hand painted. The parts have been applied to a piece of matte board that measures 12.5" x 15.75".
