    Description

Lee Elias - Original Cover Art for Fighting Fronts! #6 (Harvey, 1953). "Blast 'em! Ram 'em! Send the lousy Reds back to their ancestors! Let 'em know that our... next stop's Seoul." This bit of Cold War propaganda is brought to you courtesy of Harvey Comics and Lee Elias. Artist Elias brings his sensational talent to this riotous scene, as a jeep filled with American soldiers blasts a Korean tank. The overall art size is 13" x 18" with a 10" x 14.5" image area. The work within the image area is very clean and bright. There is an overlay covering the art that shows some slight aging and holds some notes in pencil and red ink for the printer. Also, there is a missing piece of the original logo paste-up at the top right. Includes all the original logo and type paste-ups.
