Description
Lee Elias Chamber of Chills #15 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1953). Elias' scene of ghostly torment appears in all its horrific detail -- a more elaborate view than its published appearance, which obscured much of the intricate highlighting with layers of black and a superimposed text-box. Especially of note is the elaborate blade-scratching on the hair of the figure at lower left. Ink, white paint, and shading film over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 11" x 16". Toned, with minor handling wear. Condition is Very Good.From the Roger Hill Collection.
