Description
Lee Elias Black Cat Mystery #47 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1953). The Black Cat title had made a hard pivot two years previously from superheroics to the supernatural. This simply stunning piece has very rich, deep black inkwork. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 16". The logo and header banner paste-ups are high-quality reproductions affixed to the toned board. There is a minor stain along the left margin, and two small slits in the lower margin corners.
