Description

Lee Elias Black Cat Mystery #46 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1953). It was the 1950s, and horror and crime comics were king! Many superheroes suddenly found themselves as the "hosts" of their own magazines. This cover for the lead story "What Was The Discovery?" was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 15". The logo, masthead, and lower banner are all modern day replacement stats. Toned and in Very Good condition.
