L. B. Cole Sport Thrills #12 Cover Original Art (Star Publications, 1951). This cover is a stone-cold knockout! It's a big, bold, beautiful boxing cover from the great L.B. Cole. Created in ink over graphite on 14.75" x 13" Bristol board. Signed by Cole in the lower right. This art has been affixed directly to a 17" x 23" illustration board. Modern re-creation stats for the masthead, the two paste-up photos, and the lower text caption boxes. These stats have been affixed directly to the artwork. In Very Good condition.From the Roger Hill Collection.
