Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird Gobbledygook #2 Cover Original Art (Mirage Studios, 1984). A true piece of comics history! The cover image for one of the rarest comics known, the second-ever publication of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's Mirage Studios. The comic was not printed, but hand-made by the creators themselves with a print run of only 150 copies! And even though their soon-to-be world famous Turtles were not featured in the issue, an ad for the first issue of TNMT adorned the back cover, giving fans a sneak peek of what was to come! The image for the illustration was pulled from the interior story "A Tale From The Wood", rendered in ink and marker on thin Bristol board with an image size of 7.5" x 8". The slightly toned piece has minor staining and is signed by the artists and dated "1983". In Excellent condition.
