DescriptionKerry Gammill, Ed Hannigan, and Jackson Guice - Original Cover Art for Action Comics #689 (DC, 1993). Maybe Metropolis ain't big enough for four Supermen, but this cover certainly is! From a layout sketch by Ed Hannigan, this 10" x 15" image was penciled by Kerry Gammill and inked by Jackson Guice on a sheet of 12" x 17" bristol board. You'll thrill to the images of not one, not two, but three "alternate" Supermen, including Superboy II, the Man of Steel, and the Eradicator. Includes all the original logo, indicias, and title type paste-ups, which are attached on an acetate overlay. There is some minor staining apparent, due to the effect of the photostat art staining the overlay at the top and bottom, but overall, this work is in excellent condition. Signed by Jackson Guice.
