DescriptionKen Kelly Creepy #134 Painted Cover Original Art (1975). Killer vampire bats are bedeviling a poor man, in this moody painting by noted fantasy artist Ken Kelly. If Mr. Kelly's art style reminds you a little of Frank Frazetta, it's perfectly natural, as Ken is Ellie Frazetta's nephew, and he was able to study Frank's art closely, inside the master artist's studio. This painting was featured as the cover for Creepy #134, cover-dated January 1982; after publication, Ken slightly reworked the man's face. It's in oils on canvas board measuring 16" x 19.75". There's a barely noticeable scratch that runs vertically over the copyright symbol in Ken's signature, and there is a bit of edge wear that will be easily covered by a frame; otherwise, the condition is Excellent.
