Description

Keith Pollard and Bruce Patterson Super-Villain Team-Up #17 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1980). From the final issue of this series, the Red Skull's plan to create another cosmic cube continues, and along for the sinister ride are Arnim Zola, and Hate Monger (aka Adolf Hitler incognito). A version of the Cosmic Cube, referred to as the Tesseract was introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during a mid-credits scene of Thor, which kicked off the countdown to the end of Phase 2, with Avengers Endgame. In the upcoming Disney+ series Loki, we suspect much of the mischief to be centered around the Cube. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The page is toned, especially around edges, stat logo, header, and text paste-ups, pinholes in the top, light staining and creasing/handling wear. Signed in lower area and in very Good condition.
