Description
Jon Bogdanove and Walt Simonson X-Factor #50 Unused Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1990). X-Factor springs into action on this cover illustration created for the special 50th issue of the mutant title. The illustration was not used, as it was replaced by a similar cover by Rob Liefeld and Todd McFarlane. The drawing by Bogdanove, which was inked by Walt Simonson, was colored and published in Marvel Age #85, released a month later, as a spot illustration. Ink over graphite on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Slight toning, whiteout corrections, with light handling wear. Signed by Bogdanove in the lower right image area and in Excellent condition.Jon Bogdanove: The Art of Marvel.
