DescriptionJohn Severin POW! Magazine #1 Cover Original Art (Humor-Vision, 1966). This fantastic acrylic painting features TV stars of the late 1950s to the mid-1960s era. Colors are bright and vibrant although the illustration board has some edge and corner wear. The image area measures 18" x 27.5" and features a staggering 33 celebrities on it. The pairings of who is fighting who are quite funny and logical. The Tareyton Man in the middle is very funny. It says "Cracked" at the top and may have been originally intended for that title from its sister publisher, Major Publications. Overall in Excellent condition. From The Cracked Vault Collection.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.View More Testimonials
