DescriptionJohn Severin Cracked #98 Cover Painting Original Art (Major Publications, 1972). John Severin was a comic art legend from the days of EC comics and the heyday of Marvel Comics. He also painted an incredible amount of covers for Cracked Mazagine. "Mazagine" is not a typo. They began running that gag on the cover with issue #30, in 1963, and continued it for decades. This piece was also reprinted for decades. It was used at least three more times. Produced in ink and watercolor on illustration board with an image area of 14" x 18.75". Slight tanning, pinhole in the top margin, with some corner wear; however, in Very Good condition. From the Cracked Vault Collection.
