John Severin Cracked #140 Cover Original Art (Major Publications, 1977). It wasn't airplanes... it was appearing on the cover of Cracked that killed the beast. Sylvester P. Smythe apes King Kong on this great cover by comic book legend John Severin! This cover is in acrylics on illustration board with an image area of approximately 15.5" x 21". A great cover for aircraft aficionados as well! The zeppelin in the top left was edited out of the finished printed cover. There are a few small bits of production tape holding on some paste-up art aircraft. There are whiteout corrections on the page as well. Signed in the lower image area. Slight foxing and white area tanning. Minor edge and corner wear. Overall in Very Good condition. From The Cracked Vault Collection.
