DescriptionJohn Severin Cracked #134 Cover Painting Original Art (Major Publications, 1976). Whoa... Sylvester P. Smythe is wearing Arthur Fonzarelli's jacket? The Fonz from "Happy Days" does not think that's cool. But we do! Major Publications must have thought so to, as they altered the cover and reused it in 1981 for the cover of Giant Cracked #31. The original painting featured two 50's era girls running up to Smythe in the background, whereas this altered version blocked them and Fonzie out with whiteout and art tape. The name tag on the jacket was also changed from "Fonzie" to "S.P.S.". The original image area was 9.5" x 12", the altered version is 7" x 7.5". It was produced in gouache on illustration board. The board is lightly tanned. Overall, with alterations, this is in Good condition. Ayyyyyy, you should *Snap* it up! From the Cracked Vault Collection.
