Description
John Romita Jr. and Dan Green Uncanny X-Men #190 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1985). Kulan Gath was the barbaric evil sorcerer villain of the story "An Age Undreamed Of". However, he was not unheard of, as he first appeared in Conan the Barbarian #14, way back in 1972! He had also cropped up in Marvel Team-Up #79, which allowed Spider-Man to team-up with Red Sonja. This issue, Kulan Gath helps Professor X "team-up" with Caliban in a very disturbing way! Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The corner box, logo, and all cover text are paste-ups. The board is very toned, and some of the text paste-ups have discolored. Signed by JRJR and Green in the image area, and as a bonus... the board is also signed by Marvel's Editor-in-Chief, Jim Shooter, in the lower margin.
