Description

John Byrne and Jerry Ordway Fantastic Four #283 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1985). Psycho Man has the Invisible Girl in his clutches as Mr. Fantastic and the Human Torch spring into action to rescue her from the emotion-controlling villain. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Signed by the art team along the lower left edge and in the bottom margin with a signoff from then Editor-in-Chief Jim Shooter, as well as personalized by Byrne in the UPC box. Slight toning, acetate overlay with the stat logo paste-up taped in the top margin, on board stat corner box paste-up, discolored registration tape in the margins, staple and pinholes in the top margin, tape on the bottom left edge, with light staining and handling wear; otherwise, in Excellent condition.
